Who we are

DARSHE began with a simple frustration: finding a Punjabi suit that felt genuinely well made, in a fit that suited a modern wardrobe, without flying somewhere to buy it. Plenty of shops sold the shape. Far fewer sold the cloth, the finish and the drape that make a piece worth keeping past one season.

So we started sourcing the way we would for ourselves. We work with makers who still hand-finish embroidery and zari, we buy in small runs rather than by the container, and we photograph every piece as it actually is. If a fabric is sheer, we say so. If it runs small, we say that too.

We are based in Malaysia and ship worldwide from here.

What we promise

Small runs

We hold only a few of each piece. It is why sizes sell out, and why what you wear is unlikely to walk past you on the street.

Told plainly

Every product page lists the fabric, the lining, whether it stretches, whether it is sheer, and the model's height and size — so you can judge the fit before it arrives.

A person answers

WhatsApp reaches us, not a bot. Ask whether a piece runs small, ask what is really in stock, ask us to check a measurement before you order.

How we choose a piece

Everything we stock has to earn its place three times over: the cloth has to feel right in the hand, the cut has to work on a real body rather than a mannequin, and the finish has to survive a second look at the seams.

Anything that fails one of those does not make it onto the site, however well it photographs. That is why the collection stays small, and why it changes slowly.
